Many issues may be resolved via phone or by using telehealth services. And of course, if you’re experiencing the symptoms of what could be COVID-19, take care and follow the proper guidelines.
Don’t Overestimate Medicare
Many people overestimate what their Medicare benefits will be. Make an effort to learn what your policy does and doesn’t cover to help avoid expensive surprises.

Don’t Blindly Pay Medical Bills
Mistakes happen, so it’s important to read over every bill carefully in order to spot and question potential errors.
If you see a problem or don’t understand something, contact the doctor’s office immediately for clarification. Then, verify that information with your insurance provider. In the case of a surprise bill, you may be able to negotiate or request a payment plan.
